We take research integrity extremely seriously and we follow the processes in place to ensure the rights and safety of research participants are protected.

AREST CF is committed to creating an environment that promotes responsible conduct by having standards of excellence, trustworthiness, and lawfulness.  We conduct our research in compliance with research codes and policies and staff display professional conduct and take personal responibility for their research.

All our research studies are approved by the following Human Research Ethics Committees:

Approval can be obtained from other hospital or university human research ethics committees to allow us to access their facilities.

The role of an Ethics Committee is to consider the ethical implications of proposed research projects involving human subjects.  All ethics committees and researchers follow the guidelines as set out in the NHMRC  National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research and NHMRC Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.
