Professor John Carlin

Professor Carlin is Director of the Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit within the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. He also has a professorial appointment in the Centre for Molecular, Environmental Genetic and Analytical Epidemiology, University of Melbourne. Professor Carlin is an internationally recognised biostatistician, with over 220 journal publications in diverse areas of clinical and epidemiological research as well as in statistical methodology. As part of AREST CF, Professor Carlin will advise on statistical analysis and related aspects of the program, and in particular supervise the complex statistical analysis in Melbourne.
