Professor Roy Robins-Browne

 
Professor Robins-Brown is a clinical microbiologist at the University of Melbourne and Royal Children’s Hospital, with a particular interest in medical bacteriology. His research focus is molecular bacterial pathogenesis, including the discovery of novel virulence determinants of bacterial pathogens and the genetic regulation of virulence. The expertise of his research group includes all forms of molecular typing, genetic analysis, cloning, sequencing, mutagenesis and infectio models. Professor Robins-Browne will develop and supervise the microbiological aspects of the AREST CF program in both Perth and Melbourne.
