Organisational structureThe AREST CF is a collaborative group consisting of doctors and scientists from Melbourne and Perth. The Melbourne team is headed by Dr Sarath Ranganathan, Associate Professor Phil Robinson and Professor Colin Robertson. Dr Ranganathan heads the team of researchers from the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, Associate Professor Robinson is the Head of the Cystic Fibrosis Service and Professor Robertson is the Director of Respiratory Medicine at the Royal Children's Hospital. The Perth team is headed by Professors Peter Sly and Stephen Stick. Professor Peter Sly heads the team of researchers from The Telethon Institute for Child Health Research and Professor Stephen Stick is the head of the Respiratory Medicine Department at Princess Margaret Hospital. Both departments collaborate with The University of Western Australia where postdoctoral students involved in the program are enrolled and some of the program staff teach.
